Upload it to WordPress
In your WordPress admin, go to Plugins → Add New → Upload Plugin, choose the zip, and click Activate. No FTP, no theme files.
Paste your Organization ID
Create a free DeskLeap account, copy your Organization ID from the dashboard, and paste it under DeskLeap → Settings in WordPress. The chat launcher appears on every page of your site.

Why isn’t it in the WordPress.org plugin directory?
The directory listing is in progress. Until it lands, this page is the official download, and the plugin updates itself through your WordPress admin either way.
Do I need to edit my theme or know how to code?
No. Install the plugin, activate it, paste one ID into a settings field. Nothing touches your theme files, so there is nothing to redo when your theme updates.
What happens to chats when my team is offline?
Visitors can leave a message that becomes a ticket, and you reply by email or from the dashboard. If you add an AI Agent, it keeps answering from your knowledge base even when you’re offline.
